FUNCTIONAL TRAINING IN SMALL GROUPS

Functional training is on the rise. Why? Because it strengthens precisely the muscle groups that have been weakened over time by sitting for too long, poor posture and one-sided strain. But we need these muscles urgently for our mobility in everyday life, when carrying shopping bags, lifting water boxes, putting on shoes, lifting children, etc.

WHAT IS FUNCTIONAL TRAINING?

In our functional training course you practice exactly these everyday movements and strengthen the muscles that carry you through your day. The course takes place in our personal training studio in Munich (Bogenhausen). In small groups of up to eight people, you will be guided by a certified personal trainer who will demonstrate the exercises, make sure you do them correctly to minimize the risk of injury, and motivate you to give 100 percent up until the last minute.

Each class has different stations set up that you go through like a classic circuit workout, over multiple rounds. The combination of strength, core and mobility exercises tones your muscles, increases endurance, improves mobility and delivers a high afterburn effect – a turbo for all of you who want to lose a few kilos.

Functional training is extremely versatile. Our personal trainers will surprise you every time with new exercises and equipment, so that no one will ever get bored – e.g. kettlebells, medicine balls, hurdles, black rolls, ViPrs, therabands – you can‘ t get more variety than that!

„Mobility declines with age.“ That may be right, but it’s only half the truth. Mobility is primarily a matter of exercise. Due to seated office jobs and a lack of exercise, even young people often suffer from mobility limitations. Back pain, stiff shoulders, neck pain and tension headaches are the consequences of this.

WHY DO I NEED MOBILITY? I’M ALREADY EXERCISING!

You exercise regularly and feel pretty fit. Especially well-trained people benefit from mobility training. Intense workout clogs the connective tissue around your muscles, making you feel „stiff“ after the workout. Through dynamic stretching, mobilization and fascia rolling, these adhesions and tensions in the tissue will be released. The result: You are more flexible, can perform your training exercises with more technical precision and intensity, and at the same time reduce your risk of injury in the next workout.

Our mobility class is held at your Coachyfy Studio in Munich – Bogenhausen and is led by a certified personal trainer. We train in small groups with a maximum of 8 participants. This way your coach will always keep an eye on you, correct you if necessary and attend to your personal needs.
